Portugal Golden Visa Program

Portugal Golden Visa
-
Fund Investment option

The Portuguese Golden Visa, also recognized as the investment activity (ARI), emerges as one of the most coveted programs globally, especially among those pursuing a European Union citizenship. Introduced in 2012, it offers non-EU citizens a pathway to Portuguese residency and, eventually, citizenship through strategic investments.

In contrast to other residency-by-investment schemes, the Portuguese golden visa imposes very minimal residency requirements.

Moreover, the program offers a direct route to Portuguese citizenship, allowing individuals to obtain a European passport after five years of holding the Portugal golden visa.

The Portuguese visa grants tax-exempt status for investment funds, making it an attractive option for investors seeking to diversify their portfolios while minimizing tax liabilities.
